Social Selling at Autodesk

This is the first in a series of 6 animated videos that I developed for Autodesk’s Social Selling training. The brief was to bring Autodesk sales staff up to speed on the benefits of using social media to build and maintain sales opportunities. For the animations I created a small network of characters, each with their own professional backgrounds. We focused in on one character and his journey of creating a profile and establishing strong connections and sales opportunities.

The series won a Brandon Hall Silver Medal of Excellence for video for Learning in 2017.

Building out a Network

Creating a character that networks with potential clients involved quite a bit of planning and execution to develop believable characters with backstories to engage with our main protagonist. You can see this start to develop in this excerpt of another video.
